<aside> ✅ Ultimate Brain lets you organize everything in your life using two types of conceptual “boxes” - Areas ****and Resources - which can both be found on the Areas & Resources dashboard.

***These terms comes from Tiago Forte’s P.A.R.A. system of organization, taught in his *Building a Second Brain course (this is my referral link).

P.A.R.A. stands for Projects, Areas, Resources, and Archive. It’s a fantastic system for making sense of the huge amount of information most of us deal with today.

You can read a full primer on PARA here - but this tutorial will explain the gist of it much more quickly.

<aside> ✅ An Area is a “sphere of activity to be maintained over time”.

I like to think of Areas as my “life buckets” - the different main areas of my life.

These might include Health, Music, Business, and so on.

<aside> ✅ Since they’re quite broad, Areas can contain all sorts of things - Projects, Notes, Resources, and even Goals.

In Ultimate Brain, you can create an Area in the Areas/Resources database using the Area Template.

This will create an entire dashboard for that area of your life. Check out this sample Area from the Ultimate Brain demo: Music

Check out the Whimsical board below for a look at the structure of information inside of Ultimate Brain.
