<aside> ✅ Resources ****(also found in Areas & Resources) ****are “topics of ongoing interest”. Think of them like notebooks or tags from apps like Evernote or OneNote.

Some resources in your second brain might include “Guitar”, “Fitness”, or “Interior Design”.

If you take notes on it, or clip/highlight web content about it, then it can probably be a Resource.

<aside> ✅ In Ultimate Brain, Resources simply contain Notes.

If a Resource starts to become a more active concern in your life - if you start to have Goals related to it, or need to track Projects related to it, then it should probably become an Area instead!

How to Create a Resource

<aside> ✅ Resources can be part of an Area.

You can either create a Resource from one of your Areas, or assign an Area in a Resource’s Root Area property.

Note that Areas and Resources exist in the same database - . This allows you to easily convert a Resource into an Area if you ever need to do so.
