<aside> ✅ Cold Tasks ****are tasks that:

I created the Cold Tasks view to solve a problem I’ve had with other task management software.

Sometimes, I get busy and end up letting my task manager pile up with unfinished (or at least un-checked) tasks.

This causes my Today view to be full of overdue tasks - cluttering my view and obscuring the tasks that are actually due today.

Cold Tasks solves this problem by cleaning up these views. The idea is this: If 14 days have gone by without you finishing a task or updating its due date, then did you really need to do that task after all?

Of course, these tasks aren’t deleted. They just get stored, safe and sound, in the Cold Tasks locker.

They also will only disappear from Time-Based task views, as well as the Task Inbox. They won’t disappear from Project pages.

How to Change or Disable Cold Tasks

<aside> ✅ Check it out - The task below has a Due Date more than 14 days in the past, and it does not have a Priority of High. Therefore, it’s Cold.
