<aside> 👋 Welcome to Creator's Companion! You'll find a quickstart guide, tutorials, and support at the Creator's Companion Community. Check your email - you should have received an email with login and onboarding info for it. Email me ([email protected]) if not!
Feel free to delete the call-outs once you've read them. If you plan on making extensive changes to your copy, I suggest making one additional duplicate in your workspace beforehand - just so you have an unchanged copy to refer to in a pinch!

<aside> 🧐 Creator's Companion Golden Rule: Don't create new views! Instead, duplicate a view, then change your duplicate to the view type you want (Board, List, etc). This will help you retain CC's complex filters and sorts that run everything.
Databases are locked by default. If you're trying to add/edit a property, change Groupings, etc, first hit the Locked button at the top of the view so you can make your edits.

<aside> ✅ This version of Creator’s Companion is deeply integrated with the bundled copy of Ultimate Brain + Creator’s Companion. Inside your content projects, you’ll find linked views of the Tasks and Notes databases. Tasks and Notes that you create from those projects will be associated with said projects, but they’ll still show up in your Task Manager, Notes, and elsewhere.
Additionally, you can use the Pulled Notes and Pulled Resources properties inside your content projects to “pull in” entire Resources or individual Notes. This will allow you to collect all of the research related to a content project in one convenient place!
If you need to find your databases, you’ll find them at the bottom of The Brain.
